Ca’ Rezzonico and carnival in Venice
As per tradition, NET – Experiences in the Northeast cannot miss this appointment and re-proposes its proven formula, enriched by the always unique magic of the Venetian Carnival.
The day will begin at 10:30 a.m. at Venice Santa Lucia station, where the guide will welcome the group for a narrative walk through the Dorsoduro sestiere. Among silent calli, bright fields and glimpses of the Grand Canal, we will enter the heart of Carnival, discovering its origins, curiosities and traditions.
We will then continue on to Ca’ Rezzonico, a magnificent palace overlooking the Grand Canal and home to the Museo del Settecento Veneziano. Here we will relive the splendor of the most worldly Venice: frescoed salons, precious furnishings, party dresses and tales of masked balls, intrigue and social life in the 18th century.
At the end of the visit, free time for lunch and to fully immerse yourself in the Carnival atmosphere: scenic masks, colors, music, the smell of fritole and galani, artisan stores and the unique vibe of a Venice in celebration.
An authentic and elegant way to experience Carnival, step by step, inside its history.
