The Trieste Karst by eBike

Our adventure begins in the heart of Trieste, at Piazza Oberdan, where we will board the legendary Opicina Tram. This historic means of transportation will give us a scenic ascent to the Karst plateau, crossing striking views of the city and the Gulf of Trieste.

Arriving in Opicina, we will collect our e-bikes and, after a short briefing, begin our exploration of the Trieste Karst. We will ride along dirt paths and scenic roads, passing through forests, clearings and admiring the spectacular sea views.

Authentic experience between nature and tradition

Along the way, we will have the opportunity to stop at some scenic spots to take photos and enjoy the beauty of this unique environment. Along the way, we will stop at one of the characteristic“osmize,” traditional places where we will enjoy a delicious lunch of typical products: cold cuts, cheeses, homemade bread and a good glass of local wine.

After lunch, we will resume our e-bikes to close the loop and return to Trieste. Our route will take us through Porto Vecchio, a fascinating area rich in industrial history, now the protagonist of a major urban redevelopment project.
