Aeolian Islands Cruise by Gulet

A tour designed and planned to discover the seven pearls of the Mediterranean ” Aeolian Islands ” through an
exclusive cruise in an elegant gulet, an unforgettable experience!

Here is the itinerary:

Saturday Areoport PickUp, TAORMINA and LIPARI

PickUp areoport (recommend Catania) by our guide and private vehicle. On the way to Milazzo, the place of embarkation, we will stop over Taormina for a tour of a pearl of our country. Lunch, then continuation to Milazzo and embarkation (late afternoon). Informational briefing on first directions and information on life on board. Departure for Lipari and free dinner in one of the island’s characteristic restaurants. Overnight stay on board

Sunday LIPARI/FILICUDI

We will cast off our moorings for Filicudi with a stop for lunch at “La Canna” rock. We will admire the “Grotta del Boe Marino” and descend to climb the island to the Protohistoric Village of Capo Graziano! Overnight in the roadstead in front of Paesino di Filicudi. (On board breakfast and lunch)

Monday FILICUDI/SALINA

After breakfast, depart from Filicudi for Cala di Pollara in Salina where we will spend the
first day at sea. In the afternoon, coastal navigation with a stop at anchor in front of
Lingua/S.Marina di Salina for a visit to the old Salina. Overnight at anchorage in front
of the village of Santa Marina di Salina with the possibility of disembarking for a night tour of the village.

Tuesday SALINA/PANAREA

Wake up in Salina and depart for Panarea to the beautiful “Cala Junco” where you
will be able to stop to enjoy the splendid sea and to visit the ruins of the prehistoric
settlement. Navigation to “Lisca Bianca” where you will stop for lunch and where you can
bathe in the sulfur gas trails. After lunch navigation to “Basiluzzo” for the
visit to one of the most beautiful “Islets” of the archipelago. Overnight stay in Panarea. (Breakfast and
lunch)

Wednesday STROMBOLI/PANAREA.

Awakening in Panarea and departure for Stromboli. Once we pass under shore at the village of
“Giostra” we will proceed to the impressive “Sciara del Fuoco” and from there directly to
“Strombolicchio” for a dip and a visit to the Lighthouse. Go ashore for lunch of
local products, tour of the village and evening observing the spectacular volcanic activity
of Stromboli. (Breakfast and dinner)

Thursday PANAREA /VULCANO

After breakfast we will sail to Vulcano, with mooring near the “Scoglio
of the Quail” with a visit to the beautiful and evocative “Grotta del Cavallo” and the “Pool of
Venus.” In the early afternoon we will sail to the “Sabbie Nere” and the
thermal pools. Late afternoon excursion to the crater is recommended to enjoy the picturesque
sunset. (Breakfast and lunch)

Friday VULCANO/LIPARI

Sailing to Lipari and dinghy ride among the “Faraglioni. In the late morning for
lunch, stop at Pomici for a suggestive swim in its turquoise waters. In the evening
berth in front of the old port of the town of Lipari better known as “Marina Corta,”
then go ashore for some shopping and a visit to the beautiful archaeological museum of the
town and its Cathedral. (Breakfast and lunch)

Saturday MILAZZO-Return

Disembarkation 09.00 am, after breakfast, at Milazzo. Return on apt to Catania, with quick
tour of the city center and its outstanding fish market.
